I wrote my first 90-minute play at eleven years old. I can’t seem to recall there ever being a moment in my life when performing and storytelling wasn’t at the forefront of my mind. Since that time, I’ve spent a considerable amount of my life either behind a keyboard dreaming up worlds or on a stage creating them in some capacity. I’ve been lucky enough to be both the portrayer of the story and the puppeteer of the story. All the time, I’ve never thought of going any further than home… that was, until the sleepy town of Naples, Florida met June and Jason.

“When I was first introduced to Laura’s writing it was as an audience member for a staged reading of June and Jason’s Survival Guide to Divorce. I loved the story and the characters and wanted to watch more. A year later, I found myself auditioning for the very same play. Little did I know I would actually get cast! Working with Laura and bringing her words to life is one of my favorite creative experiences to this day. The truth and humor she brings to her stories and characters is truly inspiring.
